These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and the purchase or rental of products from KILIMA Performance.

2. Scope of Services

KILIMA Performance sells and rents performance-related equipment, including but not limited to:

Altitude generators
Hypoxic training systems
Sleeping and training tents
Hyperbaric chambers
Accessories and replacement components

Rental services are available exclusively within Portugal.

3. Use of Equipment & Assumption of Risk

Our products simulate altitude (normobaric hypoxia) or increased atmospheric pressure (hyperbaric systems). These technologies affect oxygen availability and physiological responses.

By purchasing or using our products, you acknowledge that:

You are voluntarily using performance-related equipment
You understand that hypoxic and hyperbaric exposure carries inherent physiological risks
You are responsible for consulting a qualified healthcare professional before use, especially if you have any medical condition

KILIMA Performance does not provide medical advice. All content on our website is for informational purposes only.

Use of equipment is at your own risk.

4. Hyperbaric Systems – Pressure Limits

Our hyperbaric chambers operate up to 2.0 ATA.

Pressures above 2.0 ATA are generally reserved for hospital-grade medical hyperbaric therapy under strict medical supervision. Higher pressures may increase the risk of oxygen toxicity and barotrauma.

Users are responsible for operating the equipment according to provided guidelines and safety instructions.

5. Orders & Payment

All prices are listed in EUR unless otherwise specified.

We reserve the right to:

Refuse or cancel orders
Correct pricing errors
Limit quantities

Orders are confirmed only once payment has been successfully processed.

6. Shipping & Customs

We ship worldwide from Portugal.

For deliveries outside the European Union:

Customs duties and import taxes may apply
These charges are the responsibility of the customer
We are not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities

If a shipment is refused due to unpaid duties, associated costs may be deducted from any eligible refund.

7. Returns & Refunds

Returns are governed by our Return & Refund Policy.

EU consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal in accordance with EU consumer protection law, subject to conditions outlined in our Return Policy.

Rental equipment is non-refundable once the rental period has started.

8. Warranty & Limitation of Liability

Products are covered by the legally required warranty under applicable EU law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

KILIMA Performance shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
We are not responsible for misuse, improper installation, or unauthorized modifications
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product

Performance results vary between individuals. We do not guarantee specific physiological or athletic outcomes.

We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations due to events outside our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or government actions.

9. Professional Use

Certain products are intended for professional or performance-oriented use.

The customer is responsible for:

Ensuring proper supervision when required
Operating equipment according to instructions
Monitoring oxygen saturation or pressure exposure when applicable

Altitude training may offer benefits such as improved endurance or aerobic capacity; however, results vary significantly between individuals. The effectiveness of altitude training depends on multiple factors including genetics, baseline fitness, training regimen, nutrition, sleep, and overall health.

As such, KILIMA Performance makes no guarantees regarding specific performance outcomes from the use of our equipment or services. Any examples of results, whether expressed or implied, are not promises or guarantees of performance improvement.

By using our products and services, you acknowledge that outcomes are not guaranteed and accept full responsibility for your own training results.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website - including text, graphics, logos, branding, and images - is the property of KILIMA Performance and may not be copied or used without written permission.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal and applicable European Union legislation.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Portuguese courts, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon publication on the website.
